Okay, you’ve set up the computer and braved the Internet. Now come the questions. How do I get rid of that annoying password for Windows? I want to vaccinate my pc against viruses-I hear they are pretty bad. So how do I beat the bug? What the heck is defragging (sounds illegal) and why do I want to do it anyway? I got an email message that said to avoid (fill in the blank) restaurant  because some guy was drugged in the restroom there and someone stole his kidneys. Is this a hoax?

All the above questions as well as many others have answers and they can be found at Help2go.com. This site is almost entirely free to use. (You’ll have to pay if you contact a live person for a computer problem.) There are plenty of answers that are free to visitors though.

Do you want to attach a file with an email? Do you want to learn to cut and paste in Windows? These are all areas I had questions about when new to computers. It is great to be able to find easy to understand answers in one place AND they are labeled for Beginner,  Intermediate or Advanced. You can also sign up for a free newsletter that offers tips and tidbits related to computers and the net.  This site is perfect for those new to the net and for those curious folks that want to expand their pc knowledge. Until next time.
